Im afraid I do not know your friend from KMC because Manipal Univ has over 70,000 students in this campus alone.
But end point is indeed a lovely place. The view from there is haevenly. Igo walking there everyday and it never fails to enthrall me. There are three football fields there now and hence is pretty packed in the evening. Also there is a park and a jogging track. It doesnt kill the joy of being there though.
