Final Project: Stand Up Paddle Boarding

For our Final Project, Ryan and I will look into the increasingly popular sport, stand up paddle boarding. We'll interview new and veteran paddle boarders and trainers and find out what draws them to the sport and what they think of its recent popularity in Austin. Our interviews will demonstrate how the laid back lifestyle of the city, combined with the laid back attitude of the sport, is a perfect match. We will also take a closer look at the best places to paddle board in Austin and places and events to meet up with other paddlers. This site will give someone not familiar with the sport the ins and outs of what it's all about, why it has caught on in Austin, and how to learn and get involved with the sport.
